Valeria Cardellini is a Full Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Computer Science Engineering of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Her research interests focus mainly on distributed systems, including run-time management and deployment of applications ranging from cloud and edge computing to data stream processing, microservices, and serverless computing. She has authored more than 140 papers in international journals, books, and conference proceedings. She is Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems and Elsevier Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing. She regularly serves as PC member of highly ranked conferences in distributed and parallel systems, autonomic computing, performance, and the Web.
