Patrizio Dazzi (Ph.D. Symposium Co-Chair)

Patrizio Dazzi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pisa, with research interests in scalable, distributed, and High-Performance Systems. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca in 2008. He has been a member of the High-Performance Computing Laboratory at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and is Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Pervasive Artificial Intelligence Lab, a joint laboratory between CNR and the University of Pisa. He has coordinated and contributed to several EU projects and is the (co-)author of about 170 scientific publications and a Springer book. He serves on program and editorial boards of major international venues in distributed systems and cloud computing and is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Networked and Distributed Computing.
