Doriana Medić (Proceedings Co-Chair)

Doriana Medić is an Assistant Professor (RTDA) of Computer Science at the University of Turin. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, where her research focused on the expressiveness of calculi for reversible concurrency. She subsequently held a postdoctoral position at INRIA Sophia Antipolis, working on reversible programming languages and the development of a reversible debugger for Erlang. She later joined the University of Turin as a postdoctoral researcher, where she began her work on workflow languages and their formalization. Her current research interests center on workflow languages supporting hybrid executions across heterogeneous computing resources, including cloud, HPC, and quantum platforms. More recently, her work has expanded to the integration of HPC workloads with quantum backends. Her broader interests include quantum computing and the development of practical applications for emerging quantum technologies.
