Barbara Cantalupo is a Senior Researcher at the Department of Computer Science, University of Turin. She received her Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pisa in 1994. Her career spans academic and industrial research, including work at the University of Pisa, the National Research Council (CNR), and 15 years in IT companies operating in high-performance computing, mobile networks, and space, contributing to several international projects. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Parallel Computing group at the University of Turin. Her research interests include workflow management and I/O management and optimization, and she has participated in several European research projects carrying out technical activities as well as tasks related to dissemination and exploitation of research results.
